Where's Waldo in Durham?
Find Waldo in Durham! Candlewick Press is once again teaming up with the American Booksellers Association and 250 independent bookstores all across the country, including The Regulator, for some hide and seek fun as well as to encourage communities to patronize their local businesses. There is no charge to participate, and the hunt lasts for the month of July.
Waldo is hiding in a number of local businesses in Durham in July. Go find him! Thank you to Sustain-A-Bull for its help and support.
By July 1, you can pick up a Waldo Passport at The Regulator Bookshop (720 Ninth St., Durham), or any participating business. When you spot Waldo, collect a stamp for that box on your passport. Come in to visit The Regulator Bookshop, and you'll receive a Where’s Waldo button and a $1 coupon, good on a Where's Waldo book if you have ten stamps or more! Plan to attend the Waldo grand celebration. Those with passports with 20 or more stamps will be entered for prize drawings at 2 pm on Sunday, July 29 at The Regulator Bookshop! Come in costume and enjoy family friendly Waldo-themed activities and prizes.
