Using our website:

  • How can I tell if you have a book in stock right now?

Click here to search our inventory online! If it says "On Our Shelves Now" then we've got it! If it says "Usually ships in 1-5 days," then we can easily order it for you. Just call us at 919-286-2700 or send us an email with questions. 

  • Do you sell ebooks?

Yes, we sell ebooks via the Kobo ebook store. Click here to search our ebook inventory

  • Do you sell audiobooks?

Yes, we sell audiobooks via the Libro.fm audiobook store

  • What's a wish list and how can I make one?

You can now add books to a "Wish List" to save them for later (or so your family and friends can purchase them for you). To get started, log in to your account, search for a book, and click "Add to Wish List." You can even email your list to people (from the "Wish List" tab under "My Account"), for a not-so-subtle hint.

Finding someone's Wish List is easy, too. Just search for their username or email address in the box to the right. 

 

Our store:

  • Do you buy and sell used books?

Yes, we do! We buy and sell select titles used. Please see our used book page for more details. 

  • Are you a specialty bookstore?

No, the Regulator sells a little bit of everything. Fiction, mysteries, poetry, cookbooks, kids books...you name it, we've got it. 

 

Events:

  • I am an author interested in scheduling an event at the Regulator. How do I do that?

To schedule a reading or author event please email regulatorevents(at)gmail(dot)com. Please note that we require a minimum of 4-6 weeks advanced notice to schedule and publicize events in our store.  

  • Are community organizations allowed to host events at the Regulator?

We occasionally allow community groups to host events in our space (primarily literary, cultural, or neighborhood groups). These are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please email regulatorevents(at)gmail(dot)com for more information.
