Chapel Hill native Thanassis Cambanis will discuss and sign copies of his new book, A Privilege to Die: Inside Hezbollah’s Legions and Their Endless War Against Israel. Part standing army, part political party, and part theological movement, Hezbollah has created a revolution in the Middle East and is uncompromising in its intentions to remake the map of that area. Cambanis—who has covered the Middle East and the Arab world for The Boston Globe and The New York Times—teaches journalism and foreign policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
