Stuart Albright will discuss and sign copies of his new book, Sidelines: A North Carolina Story of Community, Race, and High School Football.  Sidelines profiles nine different communities in North Carolina, where ordinary coaches and community leaders do extraordinary things. Albright lives in Durham, where he teaches English and coaches football at Jordan High School.  He was named Durham Public School’s Teacher of the Year in 2006, and in 2008, Albright received the Milken National Educator Award, dubbed the “Oscars of Teaching” by Teacher Magazine.
