North Carolina author Nic Brown will read from and sign copies of his debut novel, Floodmarkers. Set in the fictional town of Lystra, North Carolina, Floodmarkers is full of very real people who survive the attack of Hurricane Hugo and then find their bearings in the aftermath-often in wild and hilarious ways. Brown grew up in Greensboro, toured for many years as a professional musician, and now lives in Chapel Hill.
