This discussion series focuses on mysteries.  The selection for this month is Still Life by Louise Penny.  Library Journal notes, “Penny writes poignantly about life in a small Canadian hamlet.... A first-rate creator of memorable characters, Penny introduces a truly engaging sleuth in Chief Inspector Armand Gamache, who is sent to investigate and in the process falls in love with Three Pines and its inhabitants.” The series is facilitated by Judy Dearlove, who has called Durham home for over three decades.  A passionate reader, she has also taught literature at several local colleges, including Duke, Meredith, and Elon.  Currently, she is engaged in the mysterious process of writing a novel.
