Retired judge Craig Brown will discuss and sign copies of his book, Blind Justice, a legal autobiography.  After receiving a law degree from UNC and a master’s in Public Policy from Duke, Brown practiced law in Durham for many years before serving on the District Court bench in Durham from 1996 to 2008.  He received the North Carolina Lawyer of the Year Award in 1985 for helping to establish TROSA.  Brown has also written the soon-to-be-published books A Fork in the Road: A Story of Chronic Illness, Fortitude, and Hope and Death of an Angel: The Life and Murder of Eve Carson.
