Durham author Frances Wood will read from and sign copies of her new young adult novel, When Molly Was a Harvey Girl.  After their father dies, thirteen-year-old Molly and her older sister wind up as waitresses at a Harvey Eating House along the route of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad.  Molly is modeled a little on the author’s own great-grandmother who moved to the Wild West in 1886.
