Local writer T. Colin Dodd will read from his essay “A Story for My Daughter” and sign copies of the anthology What I Would Tell Her: 28 Devoted Dads on Bringing Up, Holding On To, and Letting Go of Their Daughters.  Other fathers in the collection include Chris Bohjalian, Steve Almond, and Thomas Beller.  Dodd has parlayed his expertise as a fragrance-health-and-beauty-German-luxury-car-sports-and-fashion-footware writer into a successful career writing for the open source software company, Red Hat.
