Leonard Rogoff will discuss and sign copies of his new book, Down Home: Jewish Life in North Carolina.  This well-researched and lively history sheds new light on southern Jewry, black-Jewish relations, and the American Jewish experience as a whole.  Rogoff is historian for the Jewish Heritage Foundation of North Carolina, president of the Southern Jewish Historical Society, and the author of numerous books.
