Korstad and Leloudis will discuss and sign copies of their new book, To Right These Wrongs: The North Carolina Fund and the Battle to End Poverty and Inequality in 1960s America.  This book explores an innovative program established by North Carolina Governor Terry Sanford in 1963 to combat severe poverty.  For five years, the Fund relied on private and public dollars to advance its commitment to the democratic mobilization of the poor.
