To celebrate the republication of the Pulitzer-nominated novel Journey for Joedel by Guy Owen, the NCSU creative writing program will host a book launch and panel discussion featuring John Owen, Jim Clark, Betty Adcock, and John Kessel. Owen was a legendary figure in NC literature, the founder of the Southern Poetry Review and the father of the creative writing program at NCSU.   The event will also include a video of Guy Owen talking about fiction writing and a catered reception.  Free and open to the public.
